I am a mother of 3 beautiful children and a wife.

Paper Buttercups began with my rediscovered love for sewing — a passion that started because of my mum. She passed down her sewing machine to me, and through that, I found my way back to creating again. She was the one who taught me the basics of sewing, and those early lessons became the foundation for everything I make today.

I first started by upcycling clothes and doing small alterations, giving pre-loved pieces a new life. Not long after, I began making little makeup bags and quickly fell in love with the creative process. What started as a small hobby soon turned into a true passion, and from there, Paper Buttercups was born.

Every piece is handmade by me with care, creativity, and love right here in Aotearoa New Zealand. I’m so grateful to share this journey and create pieces that bring a little joy to everyday life.
